Founder & SE Asia Tour Leader
Easy Angkor Trip is proud to be part of the hospitality and tourism industry in Cambodia. KOSORL graduated from university with a major in English as a Foreign Language at Cambodian Mekong University. Later, he realized he loved the tourism industry and followed his dream to become a professional Tour Guide, passing the tour guide exam from Ministry of Tourism. KOSORL loves travelling, both inside Cambodia and outside. He has toured much of South East Asia and has visited Australia. As a freelance South East Asia Tour Leader and an English-speaking Tour Guide, he has experienced many adventures and enjoys meeting people from all over the world. In his spare time, he loves catching up with friends, reading and researching. Between 2006 – 2017, KOSORL moved to various monasteries to stay with the monks to get an education. While living with the monks he meditated and attended early morning chanting. KOSORL is also the founder of Mother Home Cambodia School which provides free English lessons to underprivileged children in his village. When young and living at home, KOSORL was a buffalo boy, looking after the cattle. These days, nobody in his village can believe what he has achieved so far in his life. He enjoys public speaking and when he has the opportunity, he addresses young people about the value of education and inspires them to study and improve their lives. “Education is the key to changing yourself and the world” he said.

BROS was born in a rural area 35K from Siem Reap city. BROS has studied and worked hard to gain an education. When he first moved to Siem Reap, he had no idea how to speak a foreign language but he studied hard and now speaks three foreign languages – English, French and Thai. BROS was a Buddhist monk for 8 years until graduating with a high degree in Buddhist studies. After graduation BROS left the monastery and enrolled in and passed the government tour guide course. Currently he is an official tour guide and a tour leader for Easy Angkor Trip. He loves working with foreigners and sharing his knowledge with his guests. He keeps learning from everyone, is very friendly and loves to make jokes. Bros believes “travel is your footprint in life”.
Mr. Viboll

BROS was born in a rural area 35K from Siem Reap city. BROS has studied and worked hard to gain an education. Mr. Own
Tour Guide & Tour Leader
OWN was born in the east of Siem Reap city in a simple village. When he was a young boy, he decided to be a monk for serval years until he graduated from Buddhist high school in 2003. He then attended two universities. The first university he finished English as a foreign language for teaching at Pannasastra University of Cambodia and the second university he passed his tour guide exam at Cambodian Mekong University. Before being a tour guide, OWN worked for many years in the hospitality and tourism industry. His love of working with foreigners was the main reason he wanted to be a guide. OWN’s passion is to share his knowledge, his culture and his skills with everyone. He is very good at taking unique photos for you to keep as happy memories of your time here. “A great smile brings happiness to your life” Own said.
Mr. Sinan
Tour Guide & Tour Leader
SINAN was born in a village about 50K from Siem Reap city. He graduated high school in 2015 and then he passed his tour guide exam. While he was studying, he worked in hospitality at a hotel. As a student SINAN dreamed of being a tour guide and working with foreigners. His ambition is to travel more throughout Asia or even further afield if the chance arises. He loves to take guests to Cambodia’s unique places and share his knowledge with them. He is happy to take photos for you to enjoy when you return home. In his spare time, SINAN loves reading and meeting up with friends at Khemarak Studies Library. He is a charming, quietly spoken young man. His general knowledge is global and he’s always happy to have a conversation. Sometimes, he goes to charity events to help the poor people in his community. SINAN believes “There is no success without learning”.
Mr. Dong
Tour Guide & Tour Leader
DONG was born in the countryside and graduated from high school in 2012. Then he moved to study at university and his major was English as a Foreign Language at Cambodian Mekong University. He has worked as an English-speaking tour guide for many years. DONG comes from a poor family background but never gave up his dream of becoming a tour guide. DONG is multi-talented, teaching IT and hospitality in the tourism industry. He enjoys working with guests from around the world with different backgrounds. His ambition now is to travel to other countries in the future. DONG hopes one day he will help his community to be better educated as he has the teaching skills. “No education, no future” is his motto.
Mr. Longdy

DY was born in Chi Kraeng District around 65K from Siem Reap city. He has two siblings. He finished high school in 2013 and then attended at Pannasastra University of Cambodia in Siem Reap. His major was Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). DY was an English teacher before and after he passed his tour guide exam but now, he has stopped teaching. DY had to study hard to reach his goal, and he really enjoys tour guiding because he can make more friends from around the world, share the history and culture of Cambodia, guide tourists to see the real life of Cambodians. Finally, thank you so much for reading my background, and we Cambodians welcome you. “We will serve you with our heart.”
Countryside Tour
The Countryside Tour allows you to enjoy the real rural scenery off the main highway, along (sometimes) very bumpy roads. The free community school we visit is about 35 km away from Siem Reap. Leaving mid-morning we can explore the rural lifestyle first, stopping to check out the local delicacies at the roadside stalls, if you are game to try. If you want to buy something for the school, we can support the local market on the way. The school classes start at 13:00-20:00 (Monday-Friday) and you are invited to assist the Khmer teacher with the English lessons. No teaching skills required. The children love practicing their English with you, though some might be a bit shy. Break time is fun time. Join in their game or teach them your favorite childhood game, or perhaps you can teach them a song? Why not? Your being there is valuable for the children to practice what they learn, as well as the social skills they gain mixing with foreigners. These children do not have the opportunities that city children enjoy. Stay as long as you choose. We will return to the city when you are ready.

Our Future Goals
Coming from a poor farming family and having struggled to obtain an education for himself, Kosorl truly believes that improved education, more work opportunities and fair pay is what is needed to ensure a better quality of life for the next and future generations of Cambodians. Kosorl’s passion is to run a social enterprise as free English Class in his community where young professionals, like himself, can encourage and assist the younger generation to know the importance of education, of obtaining a University degree or entering a technical apprenticeship. As a first step, Kosorl, with a team of other graduates, has spoken at high schools in the countryside encouraging students to study hard and given ideas on what is possible and advice on how students can achieve their dreams. By supporting Siem Reap Angkor Tour Guide you will be assisting Kosorl’s dream to make a difference to the lives and living conditions of his people. His desire is that all visitors understand the Khmer culture, proud past history, current history and what his vision for the future of Cambodia could be.

Easy Angkor Trip supports a community project in the countryside. Mother Home Cambodia School offers free English lessons to underprivileged children in a rural area where students would normally never have a chance to learn or practice English. Apart from the full time Khmer teacher at MHC school, a popular volunteer program www.motherhomecambodia.org gives the children an opportunity to mix and talk with foreign volunteers. Easy Angkor Trip supports MHC school financially when possible, plus discusses environmental issues relevant to the whole community; such as no Littering, less plastic, no chopping down of trees. Our team always promotes to our students the use of less plastic, pick up your litter and has bought some baby trees for them or yourself to plant in their own community as your travel memory here with us. By touring with us you help our aim to give the children free English lessons as well as teaching everyone to care for their environment, thus improving their quality of living standards.
