If without sunrise after you finish breakfast your guide or driver will pick you up at 7:30 AM from your hotel. If you decide to see sunrise at ANGKOR WAT and we’ll leave from the hotel at 4:40 am but sunrise is extra charge and meeting point in the hotel lobby and then we heading to ticket office to buy your temples pass. Enjoy the natural beauty as you travel to the temples.
PRASAT ANGKOR WAT is the largest and most famous Khmer temple, built in the 12th century, between 1113 -1150, during the reign of Suryavarman II. Standing 65 meters high, the temple is surrounded by a large moat [Ko Tek]. The exterior and interior walls are covered with amazing base-reliefs.
PRASAT BAYON or ANGKOR THOM is a Buddhist style temple built in late 12th/early 13th century by Jayavarnam VII. Bayon has 54 towers representing the 54 provinces before and during the Khmer empire. There are over 200 smiling faces carved on the 54 towers. Bayon was a thriving capital but unfortunately was damaged in 1811 by Cham invaders.
PRASAT TA PROMH, built in late 12th century by Jayavarman VII was dedicated in 1186 to his mother. Originally this temple had a Buddhist background but later was converted to Hindu so some Buddhist galleries were destroyed and replaced by Hindu symbols such as Yoni and Lingam. Its location is 1.5kms from Bayon through the Victory Gate. Ta Promh is famous for the trees (called “Spung”) growing strongly up, on and over the sandstone block walls.
After finishing, head to a local restaurant. You can tell your guide whether you prefer a local or western style restaurant. From the restaurant, head back to your hotel to relax after your busy day exploring the temples.

PRASAT PREAH KHAN was built in 1191 by Jayavarman VII and dedicated it as a tomb to honour his father, Dharanindravarman. Preah Khan is set in almost 65 hectares and the perimeter is 2kms. This complex includes two more temples, Neak Pean and Ta Som, which are the nucleus of this group. The complex is four kilometres west of Jayatataka Baray.
PRASAT NEAK PEAN was built the second half of 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. The main temple is surrounded by water, representing the ocean. The pond is believed to be a replica of mythical Lake Anavatapta in the Himalayas, at the top of the universe. The four connecting ponds are manmade, 70 meters square, surrounding the main pond.
PRASAT TA SOM is a small temple in the jungle, at the east gate, covered by the biggest tree root.
BANTEAY SAMRÉ is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, located 400 metres to the east of the East Baray. Built during the reign of Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century, it is a Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style.
PRASAT PRE RUP was constructed AD 961 by King Rejendravarman. This is a temple mountain, symbolizing Mount Meru. Built of combined brick, laterite and sandstone it honors Shiva Brahmanism. Being very high, Pre Rup is the most popular spot for awesome sunset viewing after you finish touring.
After finishing, head to a local restaurant. You can tell your guide whether you prefer a local or western style restaurant. From the restaurant, head back to your hotel to relax after your busy day exploring the temples.
