If without sunrise after you finish breakfast your guide or driver will pick you up at 7:30 from your hotel. If you decide to see sunrise at ANGKOR WAT and we’ll leave from the hotel at 4:50 but the sunrise is not included on this tour if you would like to do let us know, and meeting point in the hotel lobby and then we heading to ticket office to buy your temples pass. Enjoy the natural beauty as you travel to the temples.
PRASAT ANGKOR WAT is the largest and most famous Khmer temple, built in the 12th century, between 1113 -1150, during the reign of Suryavarman II. Standing 65 meters high, the temple is surrounded by a large moat [Ko Tek]. The exterior and interior walls are covered with amazing base-reliefs.
PRASAT BAYON or ANGKOR THOM is a Buddhist style temple built in late 12th/early 13th century by Jayavarnam VII. Bayon has 54 towers representing the 54 provinces before and during the Khmer empire. There are over 200 smiling faces carved on the 54 towers. Bayon was a thriving capital but unfortunately was damaged in 1811 by Cham invaders.
PRASAT TA PROMH, built in late 12th century by Jayavarman VII was dedicated in 1186 to his mother. Originally this temple had a Buddhist background but later was converted to Hindu so some Buddhist galleries were destroyed and replaced by Hindu symbols such as Yoni and Lingam. Its location is 1.5kms from Bayon through the Victory Gate. Ta Promh is famous for the trees (called “Spung”) growing strongly up, on and over the sandstone block walls.
PRASAT BANTEAY SREI The most beautiful, pink sandstone temple with detailed caving. Its 35 kilometers away from grand tour site. Because of its delicate carvings Banteay Srei is also known as “Lady Temple”. You can stop mid-way to see locals making the natural sugar products from the sugar palm. Maybe you have never seen this before so take the opportunity while in this in this area
After finishing, head to a local restaurant. You can tell your guide whether you prefer a local or western style restaurant. From the restaurant, head back to your hotel to relax after your busy day exploring the temples.

Our guide and driver will pick you from hotel at 8:00 AM and head to the market and cooking class and you will achieve your great experiences with Khmer taste. After you will have lunch and drink together with team.
PHSAR LEU (MARKET) is the largest local market selling everything that you would find in your hometown Shopping Mall, only with a Khmer feel. Fruit, vegetables, flowers, Khmer sweet treats and cakes greet you as you arrive. Gold jewelry and other gem stalls stretch down the center of the building, making a good landmark if you get lost. If you want a typical Khmer outfit to attend a wedding, you can have it made here. Outside at the rear you will find a large variety of fresh fish, seafood, all meat products. Not a lot of English is spoken but it’s safe to wander, practice your Khmer, and take in the abundance and variety of stock. Good idea to take small notes as no credit card facilities. It’s not air conditioned but hot, noisy and vibrant and shouldn’t be missed.
KHMER COOKING CLASS , Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn Khmer cooking with our chef who will prepare traditional Khmer food during your class. Before the class you will visit a local market with our genuine home-style chef where you will see locals selling their produce in the traditional style.

Next morning, we pick you up from hotel at 6: 00 AM. Tour will be required to start too early morning as you can pack breakfast along with you or you can eat breakfast at any good restaurant along the way & lunch the same also as we eat along the way.
PRASAT BOENG MELEA This temple is quite different to other temple sites. It has not been repaired and you can see how it looked when discovered. See how the jungle took over, causing the temple to collapse. Wander around the ruins, find a quiet place to contemplate the history. Many photo opportunities for you.
PRASAT KOH KER is in Preah Vihear province as well. This temple is like a Pyramid with seven levels up to the sky. Don’t miss the panoramic view from the top, wonderful for photos. We’ll also see smaller temples in the group – Prasat Krachap, Prasat Neang Kmao, Prasat Ling, Moat, and Prasat Bram, Prasat Chen. Most of these temples are cover by jungle as this area was abandoned and only recently discovered.
PEPPER FARM , The pepper farm is a popular tour in Kampot Province but now you have a chance to visit pepper farms in the Siem Reap area, Kulen Mountain (Siem Reap), or Sroyung (Preah Vihear). We recommend you visit the popular pepper farms located on the way to Koh Ker temple. As well as the pepper farm it is also possible to visit other nearby farms growing potatoes, bananas, rubber trees and learn a little more about Khmer agriculture. Not all pepper quality is alike and depends on the quality of soil and the area it is grown. Pepper types can be red pepper, black pepper and white pepper. Normally our visitors like to buy some pepper as a souvenir to remind them of Cambodia when they use it to cook at home.

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide or driver will pick you up at 8.00am to drive to the Mountain ticket office. Kulen Mountain is 60kilometers from Siem Reap city and almost an hour a half away by car. You can swim at the waterfall (ask your hotel if you can borrow a towel) if you want to swim. Kulen is a famous attraction, popular with locals as well as visitors. A Trekking Tour is possible. The mountain has a few temples which were built in 802 AD, before the Angkor era, which you will see.
Other places you can see are the bat caves, elephant’s pond, ancient temples and bas relief on big natural sandstones in the jungle. This takes at least two and a half hours by motorbike. If you would like to include this optional tour, please discuss with your tour guide who will ask local motorbike drivers to take you. Only one driver and one passenger per motorbike. Make sure to take drinking water. If you decide to do this extra sightseeing, it will be a great jungle adventure. You will pay directly to the local motorbike driver as it’s not part of our tour.
