Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am after you finish your breakfast and you will see some varieties of Khmer market style. Please ask you guide if you found some interested in as lovely morning. It’s highly recommended to book at least one day in advance.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn Khmer cooking with our chef who will prepare traditional Khmer food during your class. Before the class you will visit a local market with our genuine home-style chef where you will see locals selling their produce in the traditional style. It is all very friendly. Another feature of this tour will be the opportunity for an ox-cart ride around a large community where you will see farmers planting things such as vegetables, bananas, rice. Our guide will be happy to show you around and answer any questions. The ox-cart ride takes around 1 hour or a little less.
We have a morning tour starting at 8:30, or an afternoon tour starting at 14:00. Our remork driver will pick you up from your hotel. You then travel with our guide to a local community where you will be able to visit a pagoda where Buddhist monks stay, plus a government or community school. You can see the local women making Khmer traditional items to be sold for souvenirs. Hopefully we will see farmers working in the fields and, if you wish, you can join them to plant bananas, vegetables or rice. It’s a wonderful photo opportunity to keep as a memory of your time with them and share your experiences with friends and family. Our guide will explain about daily life in the countryside and how different it is from life in the city. Your finish point will not be where you rode the ox-cart but our remork driver will wait for you at the finish point, ready to take you back to your hotel.
Royal archery was famous during the Angkor time but nowadays it’s almost forgotten by the young generation. Many examples of Royal archery can be seen in the Angkor and Bayon galleries. Archers were trained to use three different types of bows – the Traditional Bow, the Recurve Bow and the Compound Bow. The ancient Kings used the Royal archers in their military parades. This is your chance to learn how to use the bows and challenge your skills against the archery team when you start shooting. This tour takes approximately 1hr 30 mins during which time you will have fun with the archery team, learning new skills as well as learning about the ancient archery history.
WHAT TO BRING : Please bring your sun scream, sunglasses, camera, insect repellent, small backpack and also please kindly wear comfortable clothes.
We trust both our guide and driver met your expectations and served you well. We do apologize if we didn’t always meet your standards as our aim is for you to have an amazing experience with us.
